Hey Jerusha, sometimes the best way to help your friends is just to be there and pray for them. Sometimes you won't know what to do or how to help, and although it may seem frustrating, sometimes the best thing to do is support them and let them know you are there if they need a shoulder to cry on.
I'm sorry you seem to be going through such a hard time right now in life. There are hills in life and valley's that WE ALL go through, so know that you are not alone!! Keep pressing into God and don't give up, because He has plans for your life. You may not see it right now, but He sees your whole life and He knows why He created you and for what purpose. So just keep persevering and trust in your Creator, Father and King.
Praying for you!!!
I agree with Jaime. Sometimes, its best (and often hard) to just let them know that you are there for them if and when they need to talk. Pray for your friends every day and everything will work out the way it is supposed to. Remeber, just as God has plans for you, he has plans for your friends. Keep your head and keep smiling!
I'm also going to agree! Prayer is the best medicine for any hurt of any kind! Whether it's hurt you're feeling, or your friends. And honestly, God know's what's best for them and can help them better than any of us--so trust them to Him and Him alone!
I'm not going to disagree with Sarah -not directly- but I believe that God would appreciate seeing people take some initiative for their own well being too. Prayer is all well and good, but don't actions speak louder than words?
One more thing, and no offence for this, but do you think you could add some punctuation to your posts? It's just one long run on sentence and it can get very confusing.
Hey Jerusha,
I saw you're post a few days ago, really cool. Nice way to post right on my birthday. I know the friends that you are talking about, and you're helping them both a lot here, even if you don't believe that you are. I know that seeing your friends hurt is hurting you, because you don't know how to help them. But as at least a couple of others have said, just wait and everything will turn out ok, or not the way you would like it to.
Jerusha, I do need to add that YOU'RE NOT STUPID, AND YOU NEVER WILL BE!!!!
Your Friend,
Lindsay
...about getting together...
The ball has been in your court for sometime Jerusha. I'm still waiting for your call...the one you said you'd give once you weren't so busy...so really....it's up to you!!
